Sharing the Love
When we think of this time last year, it seems like a different world. But for our children we have to embrace the moment, we need to focus on making the now memorable for all the right reasons. The good days are today and better days are coming tomorrow. Our greatest songs are still unsung…

It has been the best week ever in Scoil Chlochair Mhuire. Each class has had their own class-based socially distanced performance which has been shared with their parents, we have all visited Santa’s Grotto, enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies, we have all learned loads but most important of all we have collaborated and have had fun doing it. We remember that the true spirit of Christmas is the kindness that we show each other. Christmas is about filling the hearts of those we love with joy. It is about is about magic and love and hope and happiness. There is lots of love to go around, we must remember to share it at every opportunity.
Have a look at what some of the classes have been getting up to on our school website:

Best of luck Dolores!
A huge congratulations to Dolores Healy who is retiring today from Scoil Chlochair Mhuire. Dolores has touched the lives of so many in a positive way over her time with us here. She has always worked with one eye on the ‘greater good’, never forgetting how the tiny details fit into the bigger picture. Articulate as Béarla is as Gaeilge, a talented, thoughtful, wise educator, a fashionista and a lady to her toes. We have seen how her tireless commitment to teaching and learning has resulted in the ignition of a spark in many’s the child and we have seen those children walk a little taller as a result. These little achievements are a lesson to us all. A consummate professional, always generous with her skill and her time. However, now it is time to focus on the celebration of big dreams and future adventures. Dolores, you deserve the best and you must enjoy every moment. Thank you for everything.
Junior Infants
Junior Infants have settled in to school life so well and are working hard and having fun! Last week, they enjoyed painting, practicing their pencil grip, playing in the yard and playing matching games in Maths. Here's to another fun packed week ahead!
