Density in action!

Third class had lots of fun exploring density in science. We investigated what materials float when placed in water and what objects sink. We explored how a small pebble will sink when placed in water, but a heavy cruise ship will float! We put our learning to the test by designing and making a boat that would float when placed in water.

Camogie and Hurling Blitz

We had the opportunity to take part in a Camogie & Hurling blitz with other 4th classes which was held in Little Island Sports Complex. For some, it was their first introduction to hurling or camogie. We had a brilliant day & were great ambassadors for our school.

Mmmm delicious....

We merged Maths and Gaeilge when we undertook the fun task of making delicious rice krispie buns. We followed the recipe from our Irish book & used our Maths skills to weigh out and mix our ingredients together. We had very tasty treats that day!

Golf in Rang 4

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to have a golf lesson in school. We had the best time & learned new skills! It was so much fun & wonderful to try a new sport. There may be a future Rory McIlroy & Leona Maguire in our class!

Our school show The Lion King took place recently. Rang a 6 were amazing. We supported them by performing Hakuna Mata, What a wonderful phrase! and Can you feel the Love tonight.
